YOUR Input Is Needed: PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE-Area Mail Processing (AMP) Feasibility Study Completed
I want to share important information I received from the Superior Douglas County Chamber of Commerce. While I do some banking on-line and email rather than write letters, I still need my postal service for a variety of reasons. A feasibility study was conducted and now it’s time to show you the results.
In September, the United State Postal Service began an Area Mail Processing (AMP) feasibility study at the Duluth, MN Processing & Distribution Facility. The Northland District office completed its review and submitted it to the Western Area Office for consideration.
A public meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, November 10, 2011, from 6:30-8:30pm at the Holiday Inn Duluth, 200 W. 1st Street. This meeting is being held to explain the proposal and Public input is welcome and encouraged.
