Princess The Popcorn Park Zoo Camel Picks The Giants

From her pen at Popcorn Park Zoo, Princess, the famous football-game-predicting camel, has made her pick for Super Bowl XLVI: The New York Giants.

For the last five years, the 25-year-old one-hump camel has been picking football games.

On Wednesday, she weighed in on the Super Bowl, foreseeing a Giants victory over the New England Patriots.

John Bergmann, a general manager for Associated Humane Societies, which runs Popcorn Park Zoo, swears that although he is a big Giants fan, Princess chose the team to win on her own.

“It is all on the up and up,” Bergmann said Thursday. “She went straight to the hand that had the Giants on it. Out of 20 games this year, she was right 14 times.”

The camel’s football predictions were made each week of this season. Bergmann writes the names of the competing teams on his hands, one team to each hand.
