President Lincoln’s Funeral Train Car to Be In Duluth Beginning Memorial Day Weekend

If you're a history buff, an amazing piece of history will be in the Northland for a limited time and you won't want to miss it.  After President Lincoln was assassinated, his body was transported by train back to his hometown of Springfield, Illinois.  A part of that train is coming to the Northland beginning Memorial Day Weekend. 

According to The Lincoln Funeral Train Facebook page, the Lincoln Funeral Car will be on display at the Lake Superior Railroad Museum, inside the Depot, from Memorial Day weekend into the summer.
