Over the weekend a story broke about Jennifer Houle, a  Minneapolis student who had gone missing after leaving a Dinkytown bar.  Her purse was found a few blocks away, but there was no other sign of her.  Sadly, this story has a tragic ending.

StarTribune.com is reporting that police have located video of the missing University of Minnesota student entering the river off of the 10th Avenue Bridge, near the university's campus.  Police are not seeking any suspects and a water recovery mission is underway.

In a statement, the department issued condolences to Houle's family and friends and thanked people who provided information after her disappearance.

They have not mentioned the circumstances of how she went into the river, but it appears obvious that she was alone when the incident occurred.
