I know there are lots of different pizzas to choose from, some locally made, some nationally. Some have spicier sauce, some have more cheese and still, some people are more interested in what kind of crust the pizza has. Thick, thin, stuffed, rubbed with olive oil, such a variety to choose from. For us, we try to stay middle of the road price-wise, but still look for it to be tasty and “put together with care”. What does that mean?

Recently we purchased a pizza that shall remain nameless and what you see in the picture is how it came out of the package. As you can see by the pepperoni, it appears they whipped it together, slapped the cellophane wrap on and stood it on it’s side so all the pepperoni slid to one side. Seriously, most frozen pizzas aren’t cheap (except the ones I purchased while trying to make it as a single mother, those are still cheap and I’m sure taste like ketchup on a piece of round cardboard, ah the memories). I also try to see both sides of an argument and realize that in the mass production of pizza there probably isn’t time for everything to set before they put them in a case.

Oh, I know it’s trivial, (and isn’t going to change anytime soon) which is why we buy packages of pepperoni and enhance our frozen pizzas.

What is your favorite frozen pizza? If you swear by it, maybe I’ll try it and avoid the slapped together, pepperoni on the side frozen sadness we’ve recently been getting.
