See the zoo in a different light, or less light rather, after hours at this event.  You will get an opportunity to see animals and their activities at dusk and even check out some endangered species.

The evening's activities include live music from Chuck Perry, various animal presentations, a campfire with free s'mores and hot chocolate, and even fire dancers.  I addition on site as well will be the Arrowhead Astronomical Society with telescopes to check out the night sky.

This learning event is a nice inexpensive way to spend a Friday night with the family and it runs from 7:00PM-9:00 PM.  It's just $5.00 for children (3-12), $10.00 for adults (13 and older), and ages 2 and under are free.  Having a Zoo membership qualifies you for a 50% discount: $2.50 for children and $5.00 for adults. $1.00 from each ticket will be donated to the Snow Leopard Trust, so it also helps out a good cause.  Lake Superior Zoo is located at 7210 Freemont Street in Duluth.
