I've heard many debates on this subject and still stick to my favorite, the paper towels.  Oh, I understand the pros of the air dryers but just the fact that I can use the paper towel when I touch the door handle to open it is a HUGE plus!  That's just the tip!

The reason I brought this up is that they are saying that ultimately paper towels ARE the best.  Here's why:  bacteria is more likely to spread when your skin is wet.

If you're like me you either don't have time to stand under the dryer until your hands are dry or there's someone waiting to use it and the pressure to hurry is just to much for you to handle.  There's been studies conducted and they say that dryers may just be "blowing" contaminated air droplets around the entire restroom.  Although, it appears cleaner because there isn't a bunch of used paper toweling overflowing in the garbage can or strewn all over the floor.

One of my paper toweling pet peeve is when they put the paper towel dispenser too high on the wall.  Then, while our hands are wet we have to reach up above our head to depress the lever to get the towel out and the water runs down our arm and into our armpit, usually making our sleeve wet!

Ok, so you've heard my take on the subject, before you "wash your hands" of this blog (ha) what' your prefernce?  Paper towel dispensers or air dryers?
