The P.I.G.S. Motorcycle Charity Group will be holding their 6th Annual P.I.G.S. Ride For The Vets this Saturday. The Annual ride will start with registration at the  Richard I. Bong center in superior at 10:30 - noon.  During that time people can tour the bong historic center for free.

The ride begins with the Honor Guard sending off riders with a 21 gun salute at noon. According to Jon Williamson of the Executive Committee the ride will cover 125 miles then end at landmark lanes with food and refreshments and a street dance with the band rock BRIGADE playing all night.

All motorcycles are welcome as well as muscle cars all proceeds will be split between the Richard I. Bong historical Center and MACV (Minnesota  Assistance Council for Veterans).  The 125 mile ride will stop at  Iron River Wi. , Barnes, Lake Nebagamon, Hawthorne then returning to Landmark Lanes at 1914 Broadway Superior Wi.

The P.I.G.S. Motorcycle Charity Group  are a 100% non profit organization and all money stays local and help the veterans of the Duluth/superior area. Established in 2006 and they have raised over $75,000 for disabled vets in the area as well as many other charities like salvation army, toys for tots, second harvest food bank, biker for boobs (breast cancer) and many many more. They also donate their time to people who need help, by doing manual labor, like one time I saw them help a Vet move because he couldn't afford the help.
