The City of Duluth was just voted #1 in the Country for best Town in America to live in.  It's possible for you to OWN a piece of Northland history for residents and visitors to enjoy.  It's a conversation piece while enhancing the look of the Enger Tower property.  It's a guarantee that many people will enjoy using it.   Read on, I'll tell you how you can purchase a historic park bench.

Enger Tower is celebrating it's 75th Anniversary .  To commemorate the event, the City of Duluth is making two memorial benches available to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. (so hurry).  The two benches will be the final bench installations in Enger Park and will be located near a new overlook platform that is just being developed. The cost for a memorial bench is $3,500. This would include bench installation and a memorial plaque.

You can plan to make the purchase yourself or get family and friends together.  Or, if you are involved with an organization, make a suggestion at your next meeting.  If you are  interested in purchasing a memorial bench at Enger Park are asked to send an inquiry email to the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation staff, Cheryl Skafte at cskafte@duluthmn.gov.
