Outstanding Saturday Weather In The Twin Ports For The Opening Of Park Point Beach

Yay!   It's so funny that the official start of summer varies for so many people.  Some, its the first time they can wear flip flops.  Some, like me, think it's Grandma's Marathon week-end.  Still others say, it's the official open to Park Point, and that happens TODAY!

Park Point Beach and the Park Point Beach House will be open starting June 8th. The YMCA will be the manager of the Park Point Beach House this year. This is a City of Duluth Parks and Recreation sanctioned swimming beach and will have life guards on duty from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm, seven days a week, weather permitting.  Keep it safe and enjoy the sun, sand, smells, and cool water of Lake Superior until the last week in August. (hope summer goes S L O W!)
