Our Million Dollar Cat Lives

Well if you've been following along, our cat had a medical crisis on Sunday after she ate the pollen and a few petals from the lilies my wife had received for her birthday. 

After an enormous amount of money was spent (ok not a million, but nearly a thousand dollars), she has survived.   Although she looks a little rough because they had to shave her hair where the pollen was, she's perfectly healthy.

She was on an IV for 2 days and also had several blood tests to make sure her kidneys wouldn't fail.

The kicker?  She got a note from the vet saying she was an excellent patient.   What the hell?  The cat is a pain in my butt every day at home!  But I'm glad she's back.
