Recently I was reading an article that was talking about mysterious places in the world that scientists can't figure out.  Turns out one of them is on the North Shore in Minnesota at Judge C.R. Magney State Park.  It's a waterfall that splits along the rocks.  Half of it goes down stream, and the other goes down a pothole to nowhere.

Scientists have tried to figure out where the water down the whole goes.  The assumption has always been that it finds it's way out to Lake Superior somehow, but they haven't been able to prove it.   They have tried pouring dye down it to see where the color would show up.  They also tried pouring ping pong balls down the hole, and they never showed up either.
