October 26th is DEA’s National Prescription Take Back Day

Unused prescription medication can often get into the wrong hands.  If you have medication you haven't used, there is a proper way to dispose of it.

The Superior police department took to their Facebook page to remind citizens that they can drop off unused medications at the drop box located in their lobby.

The Duluth police department also has their drop off box located at 2030 North Arlington Avenue.

This is the proper way to get rid of your medication.   It should not be thrown in the trash, and it shouldn't be flushed down the toilet as it is harmful to the environment.
