What To Expect At The Northland Pizza & Wing Showdown

It's finally here!  Tomorrow night we'll see you at the 3rd Annual Pizza & Wing Showdown.  So what can you expect?  Well how about some great food from the area's best restaurants?  Last year I loved the pizza winner Farley's and their unique recipes.  Grizzly's once again won for the best wings.  However, there's some new competitors entering and that could shake things up a bit!

Shorty's is a new business since last year, and I'm excited to see what kind of food they'll bring.  I've tried some of their pizzas and they are really delicious.   They will definitely be a contender.  I've heard that they are gunning for the win.

Old Chicago won best pizza for the first year, and I'm guessing it didn't sit to well with them that they lost the title last year.   Expect some great pizza at the Old Chicago booth.

Also entering the competition this year for the first time are Adolph Store, Kettle River Pizza, and Walmart.  So there could be some surprises!

Tickets are only $6, and it takes place tomorrow at the Kirby Ballroom at UMD.  See you there!
