Northbound I-535 Lanes Of Blatnik Bridge To Close Next Monday Through Mid-Summer!

Hang on!  This is going to be a L O N G one!

The northbound lanes of I-535 at the Blatnik Bridge will close next Monday and remain closed until mid-summer!!!  You'll want to find an alternative route, and remember to use it. May I suggest, the Bong Bridge?

This is part of a two-year long preservation project that will ultimately extend the life of the bridge, so to answer the question that went through your mind, "yes, this IS necessary".

Motorists are asked to drive with extra care and heed the posted speed signs, crews will be working in very narrow confines of closed lanes.
