Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton will reunite once again on Timberlake's upcoming new album Man of the Woods. According to a press release, Stapleton is one of a few collaborators on the project.

Man of the Woods is due out on Feb. 2 and will feature, in addition to Stapleton, the Neptunes, Timbaland and Alicia Keys, the press release reports; in a photo posted to Facebook on Friday (Jan. 5), Timberlake revealed that the song on which Stapleton appears is called "Say Something." According to the release, Man of the Woods "explores storytelling inspired by [Timberlake's] son, his wife, and his personal journey from Memphis to where he is today."

Man of the Woods' first single, "Filthy," and its music video will premiere on Friday (Jan. 5); it was co-written and co-produced by Timberlake, Timbaland and Danja, and also co-written by James Fauntleroy and Larrance Dopson. Three additional songs and their accompanying music videos will be released each week leading up to the album's release; it is unclear which songs those will be, or if any of them will be Timberlake's collaboration with Stapleton.

A Tennessee native, Timberlake has flirted with the country genre in previous years: Even before his "we're-not-worthy"-level performance with Stapleton during the 2015 CMA Awards, Timberlake had, in late 2014, invited Garth Brooks to sing "Friends in Low Places" during one of his The 20/20 Experience World Tour, teamed up with the Civil Wars' Joy Williams and hung out with Hank Williams Jr. Shortly after his CMAs moment with Stapleton, Timberlake released his song "Drink You Away" to country radio, and earned a country chart spot.

More recently, Timberlake appeared on Little Big Town's genre-bending Wanderlust album in 2016. In 2017, at September's Pilgrimage Festival -- of which Timberlake is a part-owner -- the pop star and Stapleton, along with Stapleton's wife Morgane, reunited for a performance of a few different songs during Timberlake's headlining set.
