The Northland welcomed the opening of a new business in downtown Duluth today.  Martha's Daughter Restaurant opened at the former Coney Island location on Superior Street.

Martha's Daughter Restaurant is the brainchild of chef Nyanyika Banda and, according to their website, promises to offer:

A globally inspired menu, sourced locally and seasonally when possible and appropriate, in a fun and casual atmosphere. A portion of each month’s revenue will be donated to a local non-profit.

Their current dinner menu includes eclectic dishes like Duck a l’Orange, Rabbit Cassoulet and Seared Lake Fish.

They also have a fun Late Night Menu that includes tacos, noodle dishes, coney dogs and more.

Martha's Daughter Restaurant will also be available for catering.  Click the link below for more details and to book your reservation at downtown Duluth's newest restaurant.
