There's a new community garden that is being unveiled tonight in Duluth.  The event will take place at the Dr. Robert Powless Cultural Center at 202 West 2nd Street and starts at 6pm.

It's part of the Duluth Community Garden Program, where they turn empty lots into gardens that allow residents to tend to.  There will be details tonight at the event for people who want to get involved.  Attendees will be introduced to the Vacant Lot Field Guide.  It's a resource tool that can help get people started.

This is a great program that can help people who wouldn't have access to land for gardening, while at the same time making our city an even more beautiful place.
