New Caribou Coffee Location Confirmed For Duluth

Coffee lovers, I am about to make your Friday. It is now confirmed - a new Caribou Coffee location is about to grace the Duluth area.

According to TDTDuluth.com, the newest location will take over the old BP gas station located at 2 E. Central Entrance. (This is RIGHT next to B105 so you can get coffee and come say hi!)

The article states that "multiple permits have been pulled out for the renovation" with a fall opening likely.

This doesn't come as a total shock, as great as the news is. Over the past few months, I have slowly seen the former gas station, pretty much located in our parking lot, take on a drastic makeover. The outdoor decor has gone from a worn-down green color to Caribou's signature colors.

A few weeks ago, I did some investigative research when I started to hear rumblings of a new location. I came across a general manager job posting for a Caribou Coffee at the location in question. (You can read my full investigative piece here. Ha!)

There are already several Caribou Coffee locations in the area, including one right down the road in the Stone Ridge Shopping Center next to Cub Foods.

One thing is for sure - the new location can't be finished fast enough!
