Have you picked up yours yet?  Anyone is welcome to grab their share of the 100,000 pounds of potatoes that are sitting in parking lots across the Northland!  It's being called the "Great Potato Giveaway" and it comes during a season when mashed potatoes and gravy is a comfort food!

According to WDIO.com, Ruby's Pantry had received the call that there were extra potatoes to give away.  No one new it was 96,000!

The potatoes are available at nine locations in the Twin Ports and everyone is welcome to their share.  Laura Stahl, the director of children and family ministries at the church says,

"You just come pick up your potatoes. You can take some to neighbors and friends. We want to share them with the world, so if you know somebody who might be able to use some, share some potatoes. ... We want to smell potatoes cooking all over Duluth tonight."
