The Frozen Faceoff Tournament Championship Trophy, awarded to the postseason playoff victor of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference, will get the royal treatment during a two-day in Duluth as part of the 10th annual Hockey Day Minnesota.

If you're a hockey fan, make sure you're there to get a close-up view of the gleaming silver cup, sporting handles shaped like hockey sticks and built with eight sides to represent each conference member, during UMD's back-to-back home games against Colorado College in February.

Here are details on the Frozen Faceoff Tournament Championship Trophy’s stop in Duluth:

  • When: Feb. 5-6, from 6 p.m. before each night’s game until five minutes into third period.
  • Where: AMSOIL Arena, main concourse – behind section 101

Note: Arriving well before 6 p.m. will ensure a visit with the trophy. Keep in mind that the brief time between periods is sure to be busy.
