My Favorite Super Bowl Commercials Part I; Thanks Mean Joe! [VIDEO]

As we get ready for the big Ravens / 49ers clash on Sunday, I started thinking back on past Super Bowls and some of the most memorable commercials. I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorites leading up to Sunday.

I'll start with this iconic 1979 spot starring Mean Joe Green.  This commercial made such an impact with me that I did a parody of it later that year in elementary school.  I had a friend play Mean Joe, I was the kid, and other friends sang the theme song off-stage.  At the end I was thrown a jersey and then I yelled our punchline "I don't want this sweaty thing!".

I guess you had to be there.
