With many lakes in Minnesota still ice covered, along with some streams and rivers, the DNR has announced that there will be seasonal closures on some waters to protect certain fish spawns.

You can find the complete list here at the MN DNR website.  Several of the dates of closure are labeled "UFN" which means until further notice.  Some of the closures could extend past fishing opener.

It's also important to note that any changes can be added to this list 48 hours before the law takes effect, so it is best to keep checking back often.

By comparison, last year according the ice out map on the DNR website, all of the lakes were completely open before April 7th.  According to April 11th reports, all of the larger lakes this year are still ice covered.
