Miranda Lambert Releases Official Video for ‘Vice’ [REVIEW]

Miranda Lambert's new song 'Vice' is generating a lot of buzz.  The moody tune is getting more and more requests and when it hits the air, it really stands out.  I personally love the song and I was curious what they'd do for a video.  Today, we found out and I think it's an interesting angle. 

The video opens with Miranda climbing out of the aftermath of a car wreck.  Could this wreck symbolize her recent very public split with Blake Shelton?  I believe so, and her climbing out symbolizes that she's ready to get herself together and move on to the next phase in her life, whatever that may be.  Miranda roams the street just waiting for something to peak her interest.

The video ends with a car approaching and she makes an interesting choice to get in the back seat and let the car decide her next destination.  I think it would've been better had she climbed into the drivers seat and deliberately took the wheel and hit the gas, showing she's in full control.

Overall, I do like the video and the laid back vibe fits the song perfectly.  Miranda has proven she can do over-the-top, now she's showing that that she can be just as effective while being subtle.
