Matt Cullen is coming home as he signs a one-year deal with the hometown Minnesota Wild.

According to Minnesota Wild Beat Reporter Michael Russo, Matt Cullen is signing a contract to play for the Minnesota Wild this upcoming season.

Cullen, who was born in Virgina, Minnesota, played his high school hockey at Moorhead and still lives there in the off-season. This will be Cullen's second stint with the Wild, with the first being from the 2010-11 season through the 2012-2013 season.

Cullen is a 3-time Stanley Cup Champion, with two of those coming with Pittsburgh the last two seasons as a member of the Penguins.
