This year marks a bittersweet end of the Metrodome as the home of the Minnesota Vikings and many other big sports moments in Minnesota history. Love it or hate it, the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome has been home to plenty of sports history through the years, including a Super Bowl, two World Series for the Twins, and several playoff berths for the Vikings.

As the Vikings prepare to bid farewell to "Dome-field advantage" in favor of their new home, the team has announced plans to offer special commemorative tickets for the last game to be played on the field at the Metrodome. In short, they look pretty awesome! SKOL!

In case you were curious, the final game is a noon game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, December 29.
