Minnesota Vikings Close to Deal with Chad Greenway

The Minnesota Vikings have spend the offseason revamping their offensive line and making some minor signings on defense.  As the draft approaches, one big question remained:  Will they bring veteran linebacker Chad Greenway?  It looks like we have the answer.

Several media outlets, including Fox Sports, are reporting that a new deal with the team is "imminent" and that it could be signed as early as tomorrow.

I think this is a great move as Chad brings a lot of leadership and is also a great person to have for team chemistry.  He may have lost a step over time, but coach Mike Zimmer knows how to create the rights roles for his defenders and Greenway will still contribute big on the field.
