Minnesota Twins Sign Brian Dozier to $20 Million Deal

The Minnesota Twins continue to build for the future and one player they want to be here for awhile is fan favorite Brian Dozier.

StarTribune.com is reporting that the Twins have signed the second baseman to a four-year, $20 million contract extension. which locks him up through the 2018 season.  Not only is Dozier a fan favorite for his hustle and fun attitude, but he has recently been one of the most productive second basemen in all of major league baseball.

While I don't expect the Twins to challenge for playoffs quite yet, I do believe they are on the right track and will be a lot more fun to watch this season.
