This time of year I get tired of winter and start to look for any sign of spring.  I also have friends who always talk about going in on a Minnesota Twins season ticket plan of some kind and while I love going to Target Field, season tickets don't make sense due to where we live.  Well, the Minnesota Twins have announced a new plan that has me rethinking that.

The Twins have now introduced new “Weekend Warrior” season ticket packages for the upcoming season.  For the first time in club history, fans will be able to purchase tickets to either all 13 Friday, all 13 Saturday or all 13 Sunday games throughout the course of the 2015 regular season.  Now we're talking!

The Twins say that tickets will be available in the Field Box and U.S. Bank Home Run Porch Terrace sections with package prices ranging from $348 to $506. In addition to a discount off the single-game ticket price, Weekend Warriors will enjoy many of the Sweet Spot benefits that come along with being a Twins season ticket holder including 10 percent off game-day purchases at concession stands and merchandise outlets at Target Field.  You can click clear here to see all the details.

I love this idea and if you go in on this with a few friends, you get a some games on days when it's easier to make a road trip.  Even if the team is bad, I love to sit back with a beer and a brat to watch baseball.

This may be the spring fever talking, but I'm about ready to start recruiting friends to go in on this with me.  See you at Target Field!
