If you are familiar with fun places to go out when in the Twin Cities, chances are you've paid at least one visit to the legendary Nye's Polonaise Room, which will be closing this year.  For me, personally, I'm sad to see it go.

I've had a lot of fun there, including a fun night during my bachelor weekend that did include some drinks, polkas, more drinks and me singing "Stardust" in front of a packed house at the piano karaoke bar.  If you, like me, want to celebrate Nye's Polonaise Room, then be at Target Field at the end of the month.

The Minnesota Twins will pay tribute to Nye's with a special pregame party before their game against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday, May 30.

Prior to the game, the Twins will host a pregame party at Target Field station from Noon to 1 p.m. The Farewell to Nye’s party will feature polka dancing, the World's Most Dangerous Polka Band (Nye’s house band) along with Polish food and beverages.

Patrons, fans and friends of the establishment can purchase discounted tickets to see the Twins take on the Toronto Blue Jays with the link below.

A game and a party. This sounds like a win-win to me so let's have some fun at Target Field.
