A brutal flu season is showing no signs of slowing down according to a report from the Minnesota Department Of Health.

According to the Northland's News Center the report shows 37 people have died last week due to the flu. That number increased by 15 people from the week prior, which was a decrease from 33 flu deaths the week before that.

While a flu shot does not guarantee you won't get the flu, it's the best option to reduce your chances.  Another thing you should do is wash your hands often, taking the time to really lather your hands and use warm water.

Stay healthy out there!
