A water main broke in the Piedmont area Monday night causing many residents to go without water. The areas affected are Adirondack Street, Allegheny Street, Appalachian Avenue, Catskill Street, Gearhart Street, Hillcrest Drive, Hutchinson Road, lower Ozark Street, PiedmontAvenue, Selkirk Avenue, Springvale Road, and Tyrol Street.

Residents needing water can go to the Cottonwood, Maple Grove or 27th Avenue West and

Superior Street Fire Halls to get water for use at their home while the break is being repaired.  The city asks that residents bring THEIR OWN containers to fill with water.
The City of Duluth appreciates the public's patience as they work to repair the water main.
