Make plans for lunch tomorrow at the Superior Business Improvement's (BID) Farmer's Market next to the Superior Public Library.  This week we welcome a new food vendor, El Oasis Del Norte who prepares made to order authentic Mexican food.  I'm looking forward to it and you I'm sure you'll LOVE IT!!!

Come find me at the farmer's market in Superior at the corner of Tower and Belknap in Center City Park tomorrow.  While I was there broadcasting for B105 last week I noticed a pail of tiny apples. I asked, are those crab apples?  Yup!  I hadn't seen a crab apple tree for years!  Use to pick them as a kid and the memories came flooding back!

The harvest is plentiful at the market, this week pick up fresh lettuce, beautiful peppers of all colors, kale, cucumbers, green beans, spinach, zucchini (I make awesome bread), kohlrabi and root vegetables now.  There are several varieties of potatoes, squash and eggplant.

Growing things isn't the only local talent that exists.  There is home made breads, jams, soaps, chocolates, mustard and if you get there early enough, fresh laid eggs.  Plus, there was Alaskan Salmon and meat like steak, hamburger and pork, fresh from the farm.  It truly is your one stop shop for dinner tonight!

You'll also find hand-crafted wood furniture, items for skin care, flavorings and spices and more!  The farmers, crafters and vendors are there EVERY Wednesday from 11a-2p.  I had at least three people that stopped for the FIRST time last week because they heard it on B105 and were pleasantly surprised at what they found.  Come this week and let me show you how much fun you can have browsing while picking up some healthy products to serve your family. Plus, stop by the B105 booth to win gift certificates to use in the Superior Business District.

Plus, since this is through the BID, you'll find sidewalk sales both indoors and outdoors in many of the BID Businesses.  Wednesday's are buzzin' in Superior with great things!  Get freshness for your family and make new friends at the Superior Business Improvement District's Farmer's Market.    We'll see you there.
