Sunday night the Twins and Rangers were playing in Texas when a flash of lightning was immediately followed by an amazingly loud clap of thunder. Everyone reacts the way we would by instantly getting off the field as quickly as possible.
Ultimately the game as delayed for the safety of all. You could tell everyone was startled, in replays you see Josh Willingham of the Twins, who was on first base, fall to ground on all fours. Eventually play resumed and the Twins lost a 3-0 lead and then the game in a heartbreaking 13 innings.
