EWEB Run to Stay Warm..

The North Shore Striders have been on hiatus, but they are back and better than ever, offering something for all ages. Their next group run will be dedicated to the those affected in the Boston Bombings.  You're invited, here are the details in the group run and more on the North Shore Striders, the founding group of Grandma's Marathon in 1977 and included members like Duluthian Garry Bjorklund, a 1976 10,000 meter Olympian and two-time Grandma’s Marathon champion!

The North Shore Striders' group run dedicated to those affected by the Boston Bombings will be on Monday, April 22 starting at 6p.  Meet at the Rose Garden parking lot, London Road and 14 Avenue East. Runners and non-runners alike are encouraged to come out in support for those injured this past Monday. There will be a freewill offering collected at the run that will be sent to The One Fund Boston, Inc. to help those afflicted by the attack. Everyone is encouraged to wear a race shirt or blue and yellow as a visual show of support.

The primary purpose of the North Shore Striders running club is to enhance and further develop the sport of running in the upper Midwest.
