Little Big Town have powerful voices themselves, but during Thursday night's (July 28) episode of Greatest Hits, they'll be taking on a smash hit from another powerful vocalist: Alicia Keys.

Keys made a splash in 2001 with "Fallin'," her debut single. Certified gold in the U.S. and platinum in many other countries, "Fallin'" went to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, became one of the most successful songs of 2001 -- and the 2000s as a whole -- and won three Grammys.

"This song is vocal gymnastics," Karen Fairchild says in a promo video for the new Greatest Hits episode, with Jimi Westbrook adding, "Why we bit this one off, I have no idea!"

Readers can press play on the video above to watch a snippet of LBT "channeling our inner @AliciaKeys," as they say in their note accompanying the clip.

Fellow country star Kelsea Ballerini is co-hosting Greatest Hits — an “unscripted singing show” with a focus on hit songs from the 1980s, ’90s and ’00s, which music icons and popular artists perform — with Arsenio Hall. Each episode focuses on a five-year time period; Thursday night's episode will cover the years 2000-2005, and according to a tweet from Ballerini, she'll be performing during the episode as well.

On the last episode of Greatest Hits, which aired on July 21, LBT covered Oasis' "Wonderwall."

Greatest Hits airs on Thursdays at 9PM ET on ABC.
