Lee Brice has released the official music video for his emotional single "Boy." Readers can press play above to watch the clip.

"Boy" is the lead single from Brice's forthcoming eponymous album, and its video features Brice and his family: the singer, his pregnant wife and sons Takoda and Ryker. Together, they share a picnic in a picturesque field near an old farmhouse, the clip bringing to life the multi-generational nostalgia that the song so eloquently voices.

Written by Nicolle Galyon and Jon Nite, "Boy" will be the only song on Brice's upcoming album that wasn't written by Brice. However, the song comes at an opportune time: The artist is dedicating it to his two boys, just before the birth of his first daughter.

“We wanted to make "Boy" our first single for a couple of reasons: First, [my wife] Sara and I have two sons ... This song is a tribute to them. It’s my way of saying how proud I am to be their dad," Brice explains in a press release. "The second reason is because, coincidentally, we have a daughter on the way in a couple of weeks, and we wanted to share this song for our boys before she arrived.”

Along with sharing his "Boy" music video, Brice has announced the release date for his self-titled fourth studio album: Lee Brice is due out on Nov. 3 and will feature a collaboration with one of Brice's musical heroes, Edwin McCain. The much-anticipated album follows a three-year wait; Brice last released a new record, I Don't Dance, in 2014.
