There weren't any ghosts last Halloween.  There weren't any creepy weird noises...  There wasn't any hauntings, but it was the most terrifying Halloween ever for myself.  I paced the house, didn't get much sleep, and was struck by anxiety.  It was all because the next morning my wife was scheduled to be induced.  I was preparing myself to witness the most horrifying thing a man can see... child birth.

My wife was already a couple week overdue.  We had tried everything to get her to go into labor, but our little Jane was a bit stubborn.  We finally ended up scheduling her to be induced on November 1st.  So that Halloween was by far the scariest ever for me.

In hindisight, there was nothing to be afraid of.  Everything went well, and now a year later, we have a little Princess Leia.
