After being convicted of 51 of the 55 federal charges against him back in October, Last Place On Earth owner Jim Carlson had asked for a new trial, claiming that errors were made by the judge.  That wish will not be granted.

KBJR-TV is reporting that Judge Doty signed the order to deny the motion for a new trial as well as denying a motion for acquittal for Carlson saying evidence presented during the trial was "more than sufficient" to support the convictions.

He will now await his sentencing, which has yet to be scheduled.
