Kane Brown recently tweeted that a lot of people won't write with him in Nashville because he's black.  He deleted the tweet later, but Larry Gatlin responded with an open invitation to write with him.  Larry also said that people won't write with him either because they think he's a too old, has been hack.

What do you think?  Could there possibly be a collaboration of the two down the road?  It seems like their music is pretty far from each other but stranger things have happened.  In case you didn't know, Kane Brown's father was black and Cherokee, and his mother was white.  It is true that mainstream country music is made up of mostly white artists.  Maybe that is something that could change in the future as country music is expanding it's reach everyday.

We'll have to keep an eye out to see if Kane takes up Larry on his offer.
