Kids are off from school and you're looking for something to do.  Has it been a while since you've visited your ole' friends at the Lake Superior Zoo?  I know for a fact that they'd LOVE to see you!  Check out the Schools Out Special available this week.

The whole family can share some together time and make some memories to talk about for years to come at the Lake Superior Zoo and this week you can save some jing doing it!

Many of our schools are on winter break, so the animals thought, why not give you a break while the kids are home and reduce the cost of admission.

This Thursday through Sunday, Feb. 18-21,  you can save $5 off an adult ticket for each paid child admission.  Adult tickets are $10, kids ages 3 to 13 are $5.  To "break" that down for you, that means an adult admission is free with two paid children’s tickets. (Children 2 and younger are free and do not count as a paid child admission.)

Animals have their breakfast and get themselves ready for company in the morning, so the Lake Superior Zoo will open 10 a.m. then close at 4 p.m. (last guests admitted at 3 p.m.), Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the winter season, but summer isn't that far off.

There are some must sees at the Lake Superior Zoo right now too.  Be sure to welcome Lana, she's the new Amur tiger.  You'll want to check out the baby burrowing owls. Indoors and out too!  Have fun and be sure to become a B105 Facebook friend and post some pictures for me!
