Nashville’s hottest country stars will head south seeking warmer climate this winter. Lady Antebellum, Alan Jackson, Keith Urban and more are lined up to play the 2012 San Antonio Rodeo, which kicks off on Feb. 9 down in the Lone Star State.

The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo — one of the biggest, most notable rodeos in the country — will play host to an especially large crowd early next year. The Alamo City welcomes country’s Chris Young, the Band Perry, Josh Abbott Band, Jake Owen, Joe Nichols, Trace Adkins, Rodney Atkins, Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert to their bill, intertwined with performances from Lady A, Jackson and Urban.

San Antonio’s rodeo launches its 2012 roundup in February and runs through the end of the month, closing with a concert from Dierks Bentley on Feb. 25. The big event also features a livestock show, barbecue cook off and wine show, as well as entertainment for family members of all ages. For more information, and to buy tickets to the concerts, visit the official rodeo website.
