Yesterday the Kwik Trip store on Banks in Superior opened up.  Finally a convenience store that's open when I get up in the morning with hot food!  Today I stopped in on my way to work to get some breakfast.  This would be my first time trying their breakfast sandwich combo.  And let me tell you, I've eaten a lot of gas station sandwiches, so I like to think of myself as an expert.

First, let's talk about the coffee.  It's Karuba Gold, and I went with my normal columbian.  Very good coffee.  It has a nice balance and it's nice to have so many options when you're filling up.

Next, the sandwich.  I went with my normal favorite Muffin with Sausage and Egg.  This is the sandwich I always look for, whether it's a fast food restaurant or not.  The kwik trip sandwich is pretty darn good.  It's not greasy and runny.  The cheese isn't melted all over the thing.  The muffin was actually soft and not harder than a brick.  In short, it was the best sandwich I've had at a convenience store.  I wouldn't put it as good as my favorite McDonals McMuffin, but it's still a great option that is ready to go in a hurry.

The potato has brown sticks were pretty good too.  It's basically a long tator tot, but there's nothing wrong with that!

It's a pretty comparable price to anywhere else that you'd get the equivalent.  I believe the combo was 3.29 plus coffee.  I recommend you give it a try!
