The story is, a bunch of friends living in Alabama pulled an SUV out of a barn and fixed it up, lit it on fire and jumped it over a pond. Part of that story is true, and it's mostly the vehicle being lit on fire.

It turns out the camera work was done by a real cameraman, and the stunt was pulled off by a real stuntman, who just happen to be friends. When the Idea came up all the friends wanted in on the fun, but knowing safety concerns for the stunt was up to one of the friends, who takes care of those things in real life.

The other friend set up his camera as the rest of the friends continued to drink their beer and enjoy the show.

The care was lit on fire and jumped across the pond. The caption of the video is "most epic jump ever", which is fitting.
