Kenny Chesney and Pink Nowhere to Be Found In the Official Video for 'Setting The World On Fire'

The new Kenny Chesney and Pink song, 'Setting The World On Fire' tells the story of a couple involved in a steamy love affair. If you were hoping to see sparks fly between the two superstars in the official video, like a "50 Shades Of Kenny", then you'll be disappointed.

Pink has been known to perform trapeze stunts during her shows, and Kenny prefers to be shirtless with a straw in his mouth, so I thought maybe the video would feature some mind altering love scenes with swings, coconuts and perhaps a monkey named Chico. Alas, it appears the two stars were unable to get their schedules to mesh so neither one is in the video at all, except quick shots of posters promoting the song.

Instead we get two good looking people setting the world on fire on the beach, in a hotel room and other locations where naughty is nice. It's like one of those romantic movies you would privately watch on the Lifetime Network.

All and all, it's well shot for what it is, but it feels pretty distant. If both stars weren't available, they should've had fun with animation or just bring in the monkey and add a female monkey and make a crazy video with them. That would've been more memorable.
