Love looks good on you, Kacey!

The moment we've all been waiting for is officially here - new music from the country superstar. The crooner hasn't released new material since 2015, when she dropped her debut follow-up "Pageant Material." Since then, she's remained under the radar.

That all ended Friday morning when she dropped two new songs from her upcoming album "Golden Hour" and they were definitely worth the wait.

As if this wasn't exciting enough, the Grammy winner also announced new details about her forthcoming album. It will be released March 30th. (She dropped the name awhile back but didn't give many other details, including when it would be out.) For everything you need to know about the new project, click here.

If these two new songs are any indication, this will be her best album yet. The tunes couldn't be more different but each has that unique Kacey flair that made her one of the most authentic country artists to date. Each track is also simple production-wise with the sharp songwriting that made her a star.

"Butterflies" is a simple tune about falling madly in love with someone (her new husband, no doubt) with witty lyrics likening this new phase to a day in the life of the insect. It's the most romantic song she's ever released. Also, only Musgraves could use "chrysalis" in a song and have it feel like it fits. I am obsessed. Watch her perform the track live below:

"Space Cowboy" is my favorite of the two. It compliments the first track well but this one packs a huge, gut-wrenching punch. It's a breakup song but with the lyrical gravitas only the best songwriters can achieve. Breakup songs are a dime a dozen but this one is special. You will let out a resounding "ahhhh" on the first line of the chorus, too. This may be one of my favorite songs ever. Hear her live take on the heartbreaker below:

There's a good chance Musgraves will be singing these new tunes when she plays Amsoil Arena on March 16th. In case you haven't heard, she'll be opening for Little Big Town on "The Breakers" tour.

She is one of my absolute favorites. If you are at the show and want to say hi, I will be the one singing along to every word! March 30th can't get here soon enough.
