John Mellencamp Performs on Military Appreciation Day at the Minnesota State Fair; Get the Schedule Here

It's Military Appreciation Day today at the Minnesota State Fair.  That means there will be activities and displays at Expo Place saluting military organizations in Minnesota. There will also be more at Dan Patch Park.   Tonight, John Mellencamp performs in the Grandstand.

John Mellencamp will be performing in support of his latest album, "Sad Clowns & Hillbillies", which is almost as good a title as Neil Diamond's "Velvet Gloves And Spit".  Carlene Carter will open the show, which starts at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are still available.
