Jake Owen was just beginning his show in Ft. Wayne, Ind. last night when he had to stop it to throw out a fan he saw punch a woman. Video shows the ‘Beachin” singer reacting to the incident before continuing with the next song.

“If you’re a man and you touch a woman, you’re a bad dude man,” Owen says. The woman talked to Ft. Wayne radio station K105-FM on Friday. Speaking with the Dan and Dude show she said she didn’t know the man who struck her. She was minding her own business enjoying the start of the show at the time.

“I think this girl just got really (mad) at me for probably being in her way,” she says, “and she pretty much grabbed me by my hair, took me to the ground and started dragging me. I put my hands up and this dude that was with her just wailed me in the eye.”

“Ashley’s” fiance was there, and he went after the guy until security arrived. She says her eye is still swollen, but she received treatment at the hospital. It’s not clear who the alleged aggressor was but he also left the concert.
