Looking for a unique dinner that something true to the Northland?  Have dinner at First Lutheran Church’s Annual Lutefisk Dinner on Wednesday, December 3rd between 12 noon and 7:00 p.m. A menu including Lutefisk, Alaskan Salmon and Meatballs has something for everyone.

This event is a favorite of those who grew up eating Lutefisk during Christmas Season, a treat not often found in local restaurants. For those who don’t enjoy lutefisk, there are plenty of alternatives. And, of course, there is always a lot of singing, laughing and good camaraderie.

The full menu includes baked lutefisk with two sauces, King Alaskan Salmon, freshly made meatballs, boiled potatoes, cole slaw, pickled herring, pickled beets, homemade limpa, cranberry bread, and lefse; ice cream topped with lingonberry preserves for dessert.

Proceeds from the dinner will support local and global ministries of First Lutheran Church such as, LSS, CHUM and a parish in Los Ranchos, El Salvador.

The dinner was cancelled last year due to a snowstorm that halted traffic in the region. Perhaps the weather will cooperate this year. So save the date and invite your family and friends and head to First Lutheran at 1100 East Superior Street (entrance on London Road, opposite Leif Erickson Park) for this holiday feast!

Tickets available at the door: Adults are $15.00 and children under 12 are $5.00
