The device that is supposed to protect you during an auto collison could actually be a ticking time bomb in you car.  Certain Takata Airbags are being recalled after they have shown to spontaneously explode with shrapnel.  6.1 million cars are affected, is yours?  Find out here.

The National Highway & Traffic Safety Administration has made an easy search tool on their website.  The NHTSA urges people with the affected cars to go to their car dealer and get the airbags replaced.
